The Dermesse™ Skin Care System, Step-by-Step
During your initial skin care consultation, our Pittsburgh surgeon, Dr. Raymond Capone, will determine which products are appropriate for you based on your skin tone, skin color, and the nature of your skin problems. Once Dr. Capone has determined the proper course of treatment, your skin renewal can begin.
During the first stage of treatment, the Dermesse™ products will be used to correct any damage to the surface of your skin. At this time, Dr. Capone may recommend that you undergo an Obagi® facial peel at his Pittsburgh office. A facial peel can help to reveal a fresh layer of unblemished skin and boost the production of new skin cells.
During the second stage of treatment, the Dermesse™ products will continue to improve your skin from the inside out. Every day you will notice subtle improvements in the tone, texture, and look of your skin.
After the Dermesse™ products have corrected any surface skin irregularities, the final stage of treatment will involve maintaining your skin. Dr. Capone will help you develop a skin care maintenance schedule that will allow you to keep your skin beautiful indefinitely. Obagi® Facial Peel
The Obagi® Blue Facial Peel is ideal for Pittsburgh area patients who would like to reveal a fresh layer of smooth, unblemished skin. With an Obagi® facial peel, Dr. Capone can erase years of external skin damage in just over 20 minutes!
The Procedure
The Obagi® Blue Facial Peel is quick, safe, and effective. Prior to the procedure, Dr. Capone will determine how many coats of the facial peel solution are necessary to achieve your goals. For a few minutes, you may experience a tingling or burning sensation, but most patients do not require sedation.
Recovery
After your facial peel at our Pittsburgh practice is complete, you may experience light swelling. For several days, your skin will continue to peel. Recovery should be complete after approximately a week or a week and a half.
Results
