What is important in choosing a plastic surgeon?

You must feel comfortable with your plastic surgeon. You should verify that your plastic surgeon is Board Certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery. You can be assured that every plastic surgeon listed for our practice has graduated from an accredited medical school and has trained in surgery for at least five years. Our plastic surgeon in Pittsburgh, Dr. Raymond Capone, is a member of both The American Society of Plastic Surgeons (ASPS) and The American Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgeons (ASAPS). These prestigious organizations require demonstrated surgical experience as well as board certification. In addition, members agree to practice according to the high standards and ethical mandates of each plastic surgery society. At our Pittsburgh plastic surgery practice, Dr. Capone upholds these mandates by maintaining high safety standards and providing quality services.
